Impressive Meeting Between iHLS Advisory Board and Accelerator 3rd Cycle Graduates

During a special meeting at its new offices in Kiryat Atidim, Tel Aviv on November 15th, iHLS presented to its Advisory Board its vision, the current processes in the company and future plans.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to celebrate the graduation of the third cycle of iHLS Security Accelerator, which has clearly demonstrated the intriguing and unique model of iHLS.

The portfolio startups represent a collection of innovative technologies all focusing on homeland security, while each entrepreneur offers its unique solution basing on an original concept.

The session with the experienced team of the Advisory Board has been an opportunity for the startups to learn from this wealth of knowledge, undoubtedly a considerable advancement for iHLS portfolio startups.

Within the next few days, iHLS closes the application process to the fourth cycle that opens in December 2017.

Brig. Gen. (res.) Giora Inbar, is the Chairman of iHLS Advisory Board. Inbar has served 25 years of honorable military service in leading IDF elite infantry units. He is the owner and CEO of Ofaky Denish strategic consultancy, an active entrepreneur and an experienced businessman.

The members of the Board include:

Major General (res.) Moshe Kaplinsky, served as Deputy Chief of the General Staff, the Military Secretary to the Prime Minister and Head of the IDF’ Central Command. He served as the CEO of Better Place Israel, and now is the CEO of Nesher Israel.

Lt. Col. (res.) Yair Ramati, fulfilled leading roles in the IDF Intelligence Corps and IAI, and served as the Director of IMoD, the Governed agency in charge of the development, production, and delivery of missile defense systems to Israel.

Brig. Gen. (res.) Uri Agmon, served as an Armor officer and Division Commander, Head of Armor R&D and Head of the Training Department of Ground Forces Command in the IDF. He served as General Manager of Mercury Israel and VP of global Mercury. He was the Manager of the Heavy Ammunition concern and management member at IMI.

Yoav Manor, owner and director in Harel Investments. Chief Executive Officer of Harel Insurance Company. Chairman of the Board of Directors at Harel Hamishmar Computers. Invests in startups and has a vast business experience.

Uri Sirkis fulfilled leading roles in the Israeli Army Intelligence Corps and Air Force. He fulfilled leading management roles in El Al and in Flying Cargo, and today is the CEO and Chairman of Israir Airlines & Tourism.

Col. (res.) Arik Davidi, fulfilled leading commanding and instruction roles in the IDF, including the Commander of Tanks division. He currently serves as a judge (res.) at the military Appeal Court. Owns a company for security and homeland security counseling, CEO and Chairman of E. Global Group.

Dr. Avraham Ortal, Adv. has vast experience in the private equity industry, served as the CEO of a US-based Aerospace industrial company, and was a partner in one of Israel’s leading law firms. Now he is a partner at Sky Fund.

Meet the graduates of the Accelerator third cycle:

• LiveAid – Smart and connected first aid kit, containing augmented reality glasses and monitoring sensors.  
• Diagsense – Real-time predictive software model for mechanical systems. 
• GPSdome – Cyber solution which protects GPS receivers from disruptions (jamming or spoofing).  
• Eyeron Systems – Safe solution for getting an image in dangerous indoor environments.  
• Salamandra Zone – Lifesaving systems for safe mass evacuation and enhanced survivability in case of fire.
