A unique, impressive group of entrepreneurs leading groundbreaking startups attended the opening session of the iHLS Security Accelerator’s 7th batch on January 23. From almost imaginary applications ranging from drones, through a search and rescue simulation to a compact laser system – these nine promising startups had been selected from dozens of applicants by a committee of senior technology experts from the defense industries.

Tal Catran, iHLS, Director of the Accelerator program, asserted that with Israel being a renown technology leader all over the world, the startups should first and foremost connect with Israeli industries, alongside the seek of global operations.

The unique event launched a new 4-month batch of the world’s first security accelerator. Established 4.5 years ago, iHLS Accelerator combines business experience with technological knowledge and a first-hand acquaintance with the HLS and defense markets.

The accelerator supplies the participants with the business expertise required for innovation development and helps in lifting the barriers to the leading defense industries and reaching business connections.

Participating in iHLS conferences and exhibitions within the framework of the program constitutes a major engine for new business leads and meetings.

Meet the startups in the 7th batch and their dual-use technologies:

  • Atlas Advanced Training Solutions – a mobile, modular simulator for search, rescue and medical training, for basic, advanced and highly professional levels.
  • High Lander – a system for autonomous management and control of a drone fleet. The technology turns any drone into a super-drone.
  • Selfly – hardware and software for a miniaturized, autonomous drone, the thinnest drone in the world. A pocket-size drone for indoor security.
  • Correlata Solutions – a unique platform that redefines the concept of managing large and complex Data Center / IT systems. A solution for informed management of the organizational computing resources and making them accessible to decision-makers in a simple, empiric analysis based form.
  • CV Navigation Tools – a miniaturized, sensor-based device for non-GPS navigation, for mounting on the dashboard, helmet, or smartphone.
  • Sightec – computerized vision and AI solution for autonomous drone and UAV flights. Supplies a solution for non-GPS navigation and terrain dominance from a drone.
  • Nando Drones – an autonomous platform based on a drone-in-a-box solution. The system upgrades security and border security arrays and makes them more efficient, by creating a smart, efficient point of view.
  • ITS Group – a laser ‘hard kill’/interceptor integrated with ‘soft kill’/jammer, compact and light-weight for active protection systems, ‘hard kill’ against drones and ‘soft kill’ to counter ATGM threats. Can be mounted on vehicles.
  • McFly – a unique drone capable of lifting heavy weights (including humans) in the air, with long endurance. For first responders, HLS applications energy, and commercial deliveries.

Good luck to all the startups in the iHLS Security Accelerator’s 7th batch!
