Rafael Chooses Oracle’s ERP Cloud Solution

The defense sector was not one of the first to move to the cloud, but it seems the revolution has reached it too. The Israeli Rafael has chosen Oracle’s ERP cloud solution and has begun implementing it in its US branch.

Rafael designs, develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of high-tech air, space, ground and maritime security systems for the Israeli security system and IDF, as well as clients around the world. The company offers its clients a range of innovative solutions at the leading front of global technology, from underwater systems to air systems to space systems.

Rafael is the largest employer in the north of Israel, with some 7,000 employees, subcontractors, and suppliers. It is the second largest defense company in Israel, with sales reaching $2 billion in 2015.
