The leading conference, exhibition and airshow in the unmanned systems and robotics field – AUS&R 2017 – was opened today with a record number of visitors and participants.

The event organized by iHLS already for the fifth year showcases a fascinating exhibition of the latest developments in the unmanned systems and robotics field, alongside presentations by prominent experts regarding the features of next-generation unmanned vehicles, and – for the first time this year – also of the civilian autonomous vehicles.

The special event opened with a live demonstration of various unmanned systems, including the Amstaf UGV, a multi-mission, amphibious, integrated UGV system for security, intelligence gathering, rescue missions, firefighting and crowd control’ or serves as a multipurpose logistics vehicle.

The capabilities of the small DOGO developed by General Robotics were also demonstrated. The vehicle provides high portability and maneuverability along with tactical combat and attack capabilities. It is designed to operate in rough outdoor terrain and indoors with the ability to quickly climb stairs and engage targets.

At the drone cage the visitors can see a live demonstration of the small drones of Geodrones and Idrone Insights.

Throughout the day, a vast array of unmanned systems from all arenas are showcased at the exhibition, while videos with their cutting-edge capabilities are shown on LED screens along the day.

The event takes place at the Lago Conference Center in Rishon LeZion.
