3 days before the opening of the big startup festival, 8 companies were chosen out of a hundred registered startups to present to the CBS and Global Pioneers team their startup initiative.

The 8 companies: Cyber DriveWare in the field of cyber, BandManage in the field of wearable medical technology, WhereDat – a new mobile search engine, Salient Eye, Onvego, WonderVoice, Pixtier and SuperSmart are young Israeli startup companies by new and old entrepreneurs, who will take part in the Startup Festival taking place this Thursday, March 17th in Yad Harutzim 11, Tel Aviv.

The festival’s steering committee, among them Shalhevet Segal of PwC who is hosting the event, Tal Catran, Moshe Porat, Haim Mashiah, Vic Nahum of Global Pioneers and others, have volunteered their vast experience to help each company to maximize their pitch in front of the panel of judges on Thursday.

It should be noted that the festival, which is held annually in 55 countries around the world, was meant to connect investors and industry leaders with startup companies and accelerators working in different countries. The festival, which is being held for the first time in Israel, will host many of the industry leaders, both in Israel and abroad, to meet up-close with new ideas and help them make their next move on their way to success. The steering committee and the panel of judges also includes Shlomy Quartler, CEO of Dell Israel.

The startup to win the competition will be invited to join the annual event held by Global Pioneers in Vienna, where it will compete with startups from all over the globe. The final winner will win 100,000 euro, and will be accompanied and supported by the best in the business.

At the end of the competition, a loud and flashy party will be held, produced by Cat&Dog productions, well into the night.

This isn’t just another startup event, but a real stage to meet entrepreneurs and investors, from Israel and abroad. The event is open for Early Stage startups. For the full list of criteria and registration: www.cbstlv.com
