A force operating in an urban environment, for example, faces challenges with communication, the ability for observation and forward intelligence, the ability to obstruct and disrupt, real time coordination of commandos and assistive backup forces, the ability to fire smartly and precisely, and to camouflage the force’s presence and thereby reduce its optical or thermal signature. Special forces operating deep in enemy territory, or far from the line of defense of our forces, must additionally be able to reduce the weight of their equipment, recharge energy guzzling equipment, send situation data back to forces, and ensure total coordination within the force. Seeking these innovative means occurs at multiple levels and in accordance with the arena where events develop, such as air (stealth jets), sea (Dolphins), and electro-optics, munitions, robotics and more.
The i-HLS 2015 Future Forces conference seeks to present and showcase all these innovations, technological developments and capabilities adressing these needs in the Israeli and world insdustry. The conference deals with topics such as both individual commano and team level technologies and offers an encounter between operational units in various spheres while presenting new solutions for needs or home made solutions including hi-tech companies, startup companies, security industry companies, integratoes, nano technologies companies, R & D groups, leading academic institutions in the field and potential clients responsible for these fields – security companies, end users and acquisitions for security forces units, system integrators , leading technology experts, military, polica and secret service operational units, academic researchers, R & D organizations in security industries, algorithm developers, software engineers and hardware engineers.
