Happy-New-Year-2015

Dear readers,

2014 is drawing to a close today, and we are bidding it farewell with a sense of pride and satisfaction. It has been a year during which i-hls.com bolstered its position in Israel and worldwide as the leading source for content on Homeland Security, as well as deepened and broadened its activity.

In the passing year, we have carried out many of our plans, but we have also successfully rose to the challenges set by rapidly changing reality. “Operation Protective Edge”, which had begun last July, posed numerous challenges, and we can safely say we met them head on, responded and developed accordingly.

2014 has also been the year at which the number of unique entries and time spent in our website were doubled. Furthermore, we kept expanding and operating in the international arena. “The Shalom Show on TV” is broadcasting our content to millions of homes in the US over various channels, including Comcast and Time Warner. Over seven million viewers tune in for updates and news on Homeland Security issues. Additionally, an audience of hundreds of thousands of listeners and viewers catch the radio column by our editor in chief, Arie Egozi, on Tom Trento’s internet radio and TV show on United West in Florida.

2014 was also the year during which we boosted our conventions and events. Most of them were held for the second year running, complete with participants from guests coming in from the world over, to get a firsthand view of HLS products, technologies and tools. The participants at the AUS&R 2014 Conference and Fair at Rishon LeZion surely recall the stormy weather that greeted us all. Fortunately, the atmosphere at this even was much warmer and more hospitable, and just like all our events, it served as a meet point between all the most significant players in the field of Homeland Security.

Over the coming year, we intend to step up our content activity and to continue in our accurate and professional coverage of HLS events, news and updates. We shall also continue to expand and further build our annual conventions this year. For instance, the upcoming AUS&R 2015 in September, is slated to be among the world’s best conferences. In tandem with the extensive exhibition and top professional plenums, we shall also stage airshow, naval and ground display on an even grander scale. As in the past, 2015 will also see professional and focused technological conventions on HLS systems means.

This year too, we will pay special attention to launches and company events. We intend to continue serving as the bridge between HLS companies from Israel and abroad, for instance through the delegations we host on many and varied issues.

It has been said that it is dangerous to make predictions. No one knows for certain what 2015 holds, but we are confident that this year too, we will continue to closely follow your feedback, responses and questions as part of our ongoing effort to keep improving i-hls.com and making it even more accurate. We are always happy to hear from you, and you are most welcome to share your thoughts with us.

Wishing you a happy new year,

The i-hls.com team.
