U.S. High Justices Ruth Ginsburg and Antonin Scaglia, according to the CNN report, participated in a recent Washington Press Club event. Three days earlier Pulitzer prizes were awarded to journalists who published Snowden’s documents – an unprecedented exposure followed by an international diplomatic storm that severely embarrassed the U.S. government.

Ginsburg, asked whether she saw Snowden as a traitor or a whistleblower, said that the case could be brought to court and she’ll answer the question there, in her official capacity as High Justice. Assuming Snowden is extradited by Russia and charged his case could eventually come before the court.

High Justice Scaglia expressed a certain measure of opposition to Snowden’s acts, and said that he has no idea why the New York Post – a newspaper known for its liberal stance in which several of the documents were published – got the Pulitzer. “I don’t read the Post”, said Scaglia, “I have no idea what they got the prize for.”
