The 2019 patented electric scooter technology was recently acquired by Optimized Fuel Technologies and is currently in production. The scooters have been previously purchased by southern California Law Enforcement and rigorously tested and proven for over 4 years.

The tremendous growth of the Electric Micro Mobility sector has not gone unnoticed by some of the largest transportation network companies and holding companies. According to Bloomberg, Uber and Alphabet, Inc has invested $335 million into partnering with Lime, an electric scooter company and a UC Davis study now shows these new micro mobility technology markets are approaching a Trillion Dollar Market. Both Uber and Lyft also launched electric dock-less scooter rideshare programs along with FORD Motor Company’s recent purchase of SPIN scooter technology for over $100M and General Motors participation in the light electric vehicles market.
The frequent and rapidly expanding use of the electric scooters is reported to have a noticeable impact on reduction of vehicle traffic congestion and at the same time helping global effects of vehicular emissions reduction.
