The Cyber attack on Israeli sites began before April 7. This date was selected as a symbolic one on the eve of the holocaust day according to Roni Roytman information security and Cyber division manager at One 1.

Roytman said that the attacks by hackers began a few days ago.  “Among the hackers we recognized,” added Roytman,” were anti-Semitic and Palestinian hackers, some of them operating from the Gaza Strip.  Most of the limited damage resulted from links sent by the hackers to Facebook users when 90 % of these opened the link in their offices which enabled spy codes to enter the company’s network.”

The cyber and information security division of One1 was established to address the concern by public and private companies and organizations for threats and risks in cyber and information security and to help them fight against them.
