AUS&R Update: The Air And Ground Demo

The participants of the AUS&R 2015 have watched a live demonstration of unmanned aerial, ground and underwater vehicles for almost an hour, as part of the event. A similar demonstration will be held in the afternoon.

Dozens of television crews from Israel and the world filmed the live demonstrations, which were also displayed on giant screens in the static display hall and in the balcony facing the artificial lake next to the LAGO center, where the whole event is being held.

Veterans of the defense industry said that the event is like nothing that was seen in Israel so far. “It’s a real Air Show on an international standard compared to conferences held in the country by various bodies so far. For the first time the industries are presenting their products in action – it’s a one-of-a-kind event.”

The ground display is also attracting major attention. Thousands of people are filling the display hall as well as the convention hall, and in the huge parking lots next to the compound not a single lot is left empty.
