IMI Small Caliber Ammunition Division has developed a new and special 5.56 mm cartridge designed for use with a wide range of standard 1:7 barrel twist rifles. The new ammunition has a trajectory match similar to standard ammunition without requiring zeroing of the weapon and can be used with both short and long barrel weapons, such as the M4 and M16.
“Special Forces have been waiting a long time for this kind of cartridge”, said IMI Vice President and Managing Director of the Small Caliber Ammunition Division, Mr. Israel Shmilovitz. “Superior accuracy, effective stopping power and extended range of up to 600 meters, make RAZOR CORE ideal for special operations”.

The combat proven 5.56mm Razor Core is designed for use by military and law-enforcement forces, yet its accuracy and affordability make it suitable for commercial/sport shooting as well. The new cartridge features a 77 grain projectile which provides additional stability throughout its trajectory path and excellent accuracy results.
