Fighter jets may be referred to as one of the most intricate and advanced military vehicles. They survey the sky while also possessing the ability to perform vigorous attacks. New generations of fighter jets are constantly being produced equipped with more and more powerful forms of attack.

The French are currently constructing the Future Combat Air System (FCAS), according to popularmechanics.com. France usually tends to just create fighter jets on its own, but the FCAS will be a combination of work between both the French and European aircraft giant Airbus. The vehicle will be one of the first ever sixth-generation fighter jets, completely skipping fifth-generation fighter jets as they take over their current fourth-generation fighter jet.

The FCAS will be a single-seat jet due to how much more expensive it would be to create a two seat version. The pilot will be guaranteed exceptional vision from the elevated bubble canopy built in place. The pilot will have a large screen displayed containing maps and other important pieces of information that takes up a great amount of room in the front of the plane.

The jet is arranged to be super stealthy as it has a blended body-wing formation.

The FCAS will feature a single set of low-angle stabilizers, separating the horizontal stabilizer from the vertical stabilizer. It will also have the ability to hide fuel and weapons as they are internally stored; this is what makes the jet stealthy. Jets unlike this one in the past, have had to carry their fuel and weapons externally on the wings.

The fighter jet will not only contain two large engines, but also F-35 style air intakes.

The jet is considered to be sixth-generation because of its power to communicate in cloud-based networks, remote carriers, and the ability to retrieve data. The jet will give the pilot the ability to manage seven remote carriers (autonomous or semi-autonomous unmanned aircraft flying under its control) at once. The remote carries contain many uses, going from attacking enemy air defense mechanism to obstructing enemy electronics.  The fighter jet will also be one of the first to be able to carry nuclear weapons.

The jets are believed to have so much potential that even other countries are considering intaking one of their own versions. The fighter jet plans to be flown for the first time in the year of 2026.
