Egozi’s Fury – On Well Known Tunnels And A Fallen Drone

There was no need for a formal announcement that Hamas is digging tunnels from Gaza into Israel territory. Whoever has eyes on his head realized it long ago, despite all the denials issued by the security forces.

Tunnels are being dug, and have been for a while now, both on the Gaza border as well as the border with Lebanon – the residents there know best and they’ve been claiming it for ages, but in Israel everyone is trying to fool everyone – which ends up as a pretty pathetic situation.

Some tunnels in Gaza have already reached Israeli territory, as have some in the Lebanese border.

Those sticking their head in the sand better pull it out of there quickly and search for tunnels around, otherwise it’s not just their heads that will be in the sand.

Headlines cried out “Hamas is operating an Israeli drone that fell in its territory”. The need for headlines is messing with some of my colleagues. So a SkyLark UAV fell in the Gaza territory. So in the video released by Hamas, its men are seen taking it apart and putting it back together again.

Aside from propaganda, which some of the media in Israel is foolishing buying into, Hamas has no real use in a drone that fell to its hands due to technical malfunction.

What’s strange and irritating is that some of the media in Israel doesn’t understand the difference between basic propaganda and actual threat.

The United States naivety is now borerline blindness. The great power is not beginning to understand how to fight terror.

Last year the American government asked the Congress for $500 million for a project to train syrian forces to fight against ISIS. At first five thousand soldiers were meant to be recruited, but eventually the project simply established an elite force of 60 soldiers, trained by the best commanders and meant to be to the spearhead of the American war in Syria.

The difficulty of recruiting soldiers to fight against ISIS was substantial. Training lasted until the end of July last year, when president Barak Obama quickly declared that these fighters, trained by the U.S. will lead to a change of the power balance facing ISIS and to the beginning of the end of the radical organization.

But declerations and reality are two very different things. This prestigious project has proved to be a complete failure. Out of 60 soldiers trained by the Americans, only 2 soldiers were left. The rest were killed, captured or ran away – or so the Turkish media reports.

This failure is added to they “toy” bombings of the coalition against ISIS, headed by the U.S. Bombings simply for show with no actual impact.

Whoever signed the nuclear agreement with Iran believes that bombings for show and training a few soldiers will change the picture. How much naivety or stupidity – you decide – Washington has.

Europe is beginning to wake up. The tens of thousands of refugees from the Middle East and Africa are washing over the continent in growing waves. So far it is a human social problem which Europe doesn’t know how to handle, same as in Israel.

The big problem is that Europe doesn’t know how to handle the security issue – the lack of supervision over those entering the continent, when it’s already clear that a large number of ISIS and Al Qaeda members have already infiltrated it.

The countries of Europe have lost control. Even now, when they already understand understand the size and severity of the problem, they’re not doing much.
