Brazil; Marines UAV Trials

Brazilian Marines have conducted trials with drones, the Austrian S-100 Camcopter and Boeing Insitu’s Scaneagle UAV.

The test was performed on the northeastern coast of Rio de Janeiro aboard the OPV P-121 “Apa”. This aerial unmanned system is a development of Insitu, since 2008 a subsidiary of Boeing, which also produces the Night Eagle and Integrator or Blackjack RQ-21A, which will be equipping the Marines and the Dutch Army, like the Scan Eagle.
