Joseph Weiss, IAI President, said: “IAI is known worldwide as a UAV pioneer. Today, with more than four decades of operational experience and fifty clients worldwide, I’m proud to announce that IAI UAVs have accumulated more than one million hours of operational flight. The Heron UAV, still a leading system in Israel and internationally, has been sold to about twenty clients around the world. The Heron has accumulated more than 200,000 hours of operational flight, including NATO missions in Afghanistan and other conflicts around the world. We continue to develop the Heron and UAVs in general, using our knowledge and proven experience.”
