Egozi’s Fury

egozi's fury featureAn explosive charge on a school bus in the west bank? What would it take for the security establishment to stop playing games and officially declare that a new intifada had begun? Burying their heads in the Judea and Samaria sands solves nothing. Perhaps they’re afraid that will hurt the so called “peace talks” with the Palestinians? Well, there aren’t any such talks, there were never and there will never be any such talks. It’s all just some spineless politicians bent on pleasing the U.S. at any cost. All the recent events in the region have become virtual: There’s no intifada, there are peace talks, Israel will attack Iran. All these exist, perhaps, in some virtual world, but in the real world it’s all just nonsense, and if any leaders actually fall for it then they’re endangering the entire state of Israel.

This is the government’s failed equation: Release terrorists with blood on their hands and in return build more houses in Judea and Samaria. You need a twisted mind to come up with something like that, terrorists for houses. I wonder how many houses for every murderer? Is a terrorist that murdered one Israeli worth the same number of houses as a terrorist that murdered five? Mahmoud Abbas and his men are smart. They came to talks which would obviously lead to nothing, while at the same time presenting some incredible accomplishments to their people. Murderers getting to go back home, Israel builds more houses. Can’t Israel build houses without letting murderers go? Does anyone even know how many houses are built in Judea and Samaria? But the government’s fear of Washington’s response drives it to take these ludicrous measures, not for the first time and certainly not for the last time.

Analysts have decided that Israel is far less likely to attack Iran by itself. What do you think? Well, Israel would have never attacked Iran by itself. Such an attack won’t stop Iran’s nuclear program, and would only result in a barrage of ballistic missiles from Iran and rockets from Hizballah. It was all just talk. Without the U.S. we wouldn’t have any such plans. Even former Air Force Commander Edo Nehoshtan said yesterday that such an attack will only delay Iran. Now the U.S. is backing off and Israel remains alone, against an Iran who is very, very close to getting its coveted nuclear device. The world doesn’t really care because no one understands what that means. Israel will have to learn to live with the Iranian bomb.

“The United States is worried by Turkey’s intention to purchase anti-missile systems from china”. Welcome to the party, Washington, but you’re a little late. Erdogan played you for fools for a while now. Turkey, a senior NATO member, does everything that a member of that organization shouldn’t.

IHLS – Israel Homeland Security

Washington’s silence encouraged Erdogan to go forward with his plan to become the ruler of the entire Muslim world. If he needs to turn his back on the United States, so be it, there won’t be any repercussions other than some disapproving comments. The world knows that the U.S. is weak these days, and that it doesn’t have the will or the power to maintain its status as a world leader.

Germany and a number of other states suggested that the U.N. Declare that countries must not spy on each other’s leaders. There, finally a magical solution to the problem. What a joke. Some politicians think that this entirely useless organization, which has no teeth, no spine and basically nothing else either, will be the one to enforce the principle of not spying on friendly world leaders. The U.N. is totally useless, meaningless, lacks anything of value, and now they want it to uphold the honor of leaders and protect them from being spied on through their personal phones. New naivety records are broken every week, when will it stop?

After a few earthquakes were felt in the north, the Home Front Defense Ministry brought together experts to assess the situation. Another bad joke. The ministry is useless, and in its current form can’t even protect its own offices against the morning winds. And then we got to see the Home Front Defense Minister’s photo taken against the background of some rescue equipment. Now we can feel safe. If an earthquake strikes we’ll have nothing to worry about, because the Home Front Defense Ministry is ready for anything. How many bad jokes can the citizens of this country stand? A lot, apparently. The problem is that those who tell the jokes get replaced, but the problems remain – deadly serious ones.

A malfunction in one Electric Corporation production unit caused power outages all over the country. Not in the hottest days of summer nor in the rainiest days of winter. Just one unit malfunctioned. And we thought we had power production reserves, we thought the Electric Corporation took even more severe malfunctions than last week’s into account. But just one malfunctioning production unit paralyzed entire areas. Think what would happen if more than one unit stopped working, maybe due to cyber-attacks or rocket or missile strikes. In that case we can only light up some candles and pray.
