AUS&R 2016: The Presentations

After the gathering and demonstration of grounded and aerial unmanned technologies, the presentations began.

First to go was Lt. Col. Momi Alkobi, of Maf’at. Lt. Col. Alkobi explained about the developments of unmanned technologies and the needs that they will attempt to solve in the future.

He then adressed the obstacles that lay ahead of the industry, among them finding new ways to evolve, for example: “We used to think that supplies have to get to forces via convoys or large manned aerial vehicles. Today there’s a new concept – spreading the supplies between dozens of small drones and leading them to the force, that might be in hostile territory, it will be a good method to refrain from risking lives”.
