Quick Draw – Iran’s smiles have won over Israeli mumbles

irandealWhen I saw the Irani minister of foreign affairs Zarif standing over the balcony in Vienna, spreading smiles to reporters and communicating with smiles, I realised for the thousand time that Iran’s smile attack has won over the naivety and stupidity of the world.

Iran has turned out victorious. It has experienced some sand in the wheels but that will only slow down the speed. Iran will have nuclear capabilities sooner or later.

And in Israel they keep adding to the flood of stupid comments.

In the cabinet meeting yesterday it was decided to unanimously reject the agreement signed between Iran and the powerful countries.

The cabinet has been assembled to a special meeting following the announcement of the agreement between Iran and the 5+1. At the end of a meeting lasting over three hours, the Prime Minister’s office has announced that the ministers have decided unanimously to reject it and conclude that Israel is not commited to it. Prime Minister Netanyahu, on a phone call with the United States’ president, Barack Obama, told him that the nuclear agreement with Iran is a threat to the safety of Israel and the entire world.

Great. What does it mean that Israel is not accepting the agreement? Is anyone even asking us? Whoever it was in Jerusalem who thought that other countries will get the job done for us, was mistaken from the start.

Israel has spend billions in preparing to attack Iran’s nuclear reactors. But in reality it was all talk.

Logic states that if a threat so terrible to the existence of the state of Israel exists, something more than talking must be done.

According to foreign press, Israel is in charge of putting some “worms” in the computer systems serving the Iranian nuclear plan, but even if that’s true – that’s not the solution.

When Israel is aware of a terror organization somewhere, every security service operates immediately and usually successfuly.

This here is the biggest threat on the state of Israel, and what is being done other than talking? Nothing.

This issue is finished. Iran keeps marching, instead of speeding, towards a nuclear arsenal and in Israel the cabinet is “not accepting the deal”, as if anyone even asked for its permission.

The only way for Israel is to not trust anybody else. But our leaders have gotten used to doing a lot of talk, but very little acting.

Remember that undying sentence from the western – “When you gotta shoot, shoot, don’t talk”? Sometimes even in westerns there is a lot of wisdom.
