App To Upgrade Law Enforcement Efficiency

A new application meant to increase officers’ efficiency while pulling over and inspecting vehicles on the side of the road has been put to use recently in the Pennsylvania Police. The app will be based on the state’s law enforcement’s database and will allow the officer to have access to information from many sources including the Pennsylvania police, court system and wellfare system. The app does several actions simultaneously and helps to officer to receive more information of more accuracy in a shorter amount of time. With the information received, the officer can know in advance whether to expect any problems with inspecting the person he pulled over.
The app’s system capabilities include tracking information according to the license plate, driver’s permit number and name of the driver. The uniqeness of this app is that it incorporates six search engines under its roof. The information received by the officer after the search will be user friendly visually and easy to operate.
Another advantage of the system is that it is fast to operate, allowing the driver to be released, if possible, after a fast and thorough inspection. This is a major improvement in the police service to the citizens, which will better the way law enforcement agencies are perceived in the public’s eye. The swiftness of the inspection will also allow more drivers to be inspected, in order to find those that need to be found.
Law enforcement agencies across the world could learn a thing or two from the American approach to this matter. Improving the work’s efficiency, faster tracking of drivers driving without a license or those wanted for arrest, will aid in the citizens’ feeling of personal safety and improve their attitude towards security services.
The Israeli police is also taking major steps towards progress and aims to improve its efficiency. Adopting the idea behind this application and developing a software similar to it will make achieving this goal much easier.
