Egozi’s Fury – Deterrence

Gaza is building tunnels and fortifications right there on the border. Gaza is taking the cement Israel keeps sending, most foolishly, “to rebuild the Gaza Strip”, but uses is to rebuild strictly military infrastructure.

Things are even works in the West Bank. Those who did not order throwers of Molotov cocktails shot, has effectively encouraged those who through a Molotov cocktail only last Friday, seriously injuring an 11 year old girl.

Those who think the proper way to react to murderous terror is ’moderate and scaled’ is simply re-defining what being ’stupid’ is.

Where are all the experts who should be telling the government that being so lax and flaccid in Gaza and the West Bank only serves to bolster terrorism.

Last Friday, the IDF deployed two Iron Dome batteries in the south of Israel.

A government which responds to terror this way, having lost all initiative and merely follows events, is unworthy of the public’s trust.

The French government deployed over 1000 thousand soldiers throughout the country’s major cities in order to prevent further acts of terror inspired by radical Islam. Even ten thousand police officers are not going to help matters. France is awash with Islamic terror cells.

Millions of Muslims in France are doing as they please. In recent months, we have seen the unbelievable happening right before our eyes. In France’s most central locations, including in the center of Paris, devout Muslims have been staging riots.

The French Police was nowhere to be seen. Once they did put in an appearance, the police officers quickly retreated in the face of demonstrators’ violence.

Thinks are much the same in other countries in Europe. The whole continent “absorbed” immigrant. Of course not all of them are engaged in terrorist activity, but the uncontrolled influx of people into Europe has resulted in this current situation, which is only going to get worse. After many years of reluctance to understand the scope of the danger, they finally have. Big time. But it is already too late.

Minister of Internal Affairs Gilad Erdan refuses to renew the passport of a young Israeli Muslim who went to volunteer to the ranks of ISIS, and is now ill and stuck in Turkey. This family’s solicitors are angrily threatening to take the minister to court in order to force him to change his position. How rude! An Israeli citizen is leaving the country in order to join ISIS, but now he is ill and wants to come back for treatment. He might even want to collect disability checks.

The whole affair redefines what it means to be rude and insolent. Israelis ought to be prevented from joining ISIS. If they do succeed, and avoid getting killed in the anti-ISIS coalition’s bombings, then let them stay there. Not in Israel. We have our own fair share of homegrown terrorists. We hardly need to import any more.

The investigation into the stabbing of two Border Police Officers last Friday is under strict censorship.

I am not familiar with the case, but I simply do not understand how it is that the stabber was not lying dead one second after stabbing the two officers.

Is it that the current orders, along with the fact that each soldier or Border Police officer now constantly needs a lawyer right next to them, prevent rapid, deadly response?

I believe the answer is yes. We have seen Molotov cocktails thrown at IDF posts, but no response. Even the Swiss Army or the Vatican Guard would have responded. Those would fire back and those would unsheathe their swords. Nevertheless, here in Israel, paralysis rules.

Israel’s army and police forces are fighting murderous terrorism with one hand tied behind their back, and sometimes both hands, even.
