Another system has been developed to counter drone operation in unauthorized airspaces.

The DroneGun Tactical system has been recently certified as compliant for human exposure, in connection with requests by potential governmental end-users, in relation to their procurement processes.

DroneShield’s DroneGun TacticalOneTech has been certified by a specialist SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) laboratory for global certifications, as compliant with the Australian and New Zealand Communications and Media Authority requirements for human exposure to radio frequencies, within the specific frequency bands of operation which cross-references to the international ICNIRP standard, according to uasvision.com.

The certification was obtained in response to the DroneGun Tactical product advancing through procurement processes with a number of major defense and other government agencies internationally, for which this was a requirement requested by several agencies.

DroneGun Tactical provides a safe countermeasure against a wide range of drone models. It allows for a controlled management of drone payload such as explosives, with no damage to common drones models or surrounding environment due to the drones generally responding via a vertical controlled landing on the spot, or returning back to the starting point (assisting to track the operator), according to the company’s website.

The targeted drone remains intact and is available for forensic investigation. The effective range of the rifle, which weighs 6.3 kg (including 2 batteries), reaches 1km in a wide range of environmental conditions.

No technical training is required for set up or use.

DroneShield specializes in drone detection and disruption technology. The company has developed multilayered drone detection and disruption solutions that protect people, organizations and critical infrastructure from intrusion from drones.
