The Chilean Army has chosen the ACE Galil assault rifle in 5.56 mm made by IWI – Israel Weapon Industries, as its new standard assault rifle.

In line with modern requirements, the gun has great ergonomics and has several picatinny rails for the installation of various sights (holographic, day or night) or accessories (tactical grips or flashlights, for example). The ACE family assault rifles are based on the mechanism of the Galil assault rifle.
