The Russian defense forces have recently revealed their latest development of its local UAV development and production industry -the S-300M.

The S-300M, or by its commercial name – the StormBringer, has a home tracking system based on laser technology as well as a special system to minimize possible damages in case of an emergency landing. The UAV’s capabilities are highly versatile, which allows it to operate in any weather, from especially high temperatures to rain storms and snow, and keep on with its different intelligence missions.

The new StormBringer is the first of a whole series of products developed by the Russian UAV industry. Both Russian and American industries are developing and presenting to the entire world unmanned vehicles for quite some time. Along with them is the Israeli UAV industry, which celebrates this year four decades of Israeli unmanned development. For forty years the world has witnessed remarkable and innovative ideas which led to contracts with many of the world’s militaries, among them are the contract with Australia for Heron UAVs, as well as a contract recently signed with the Indian military industry.
