A new advanced security system is being evaluated by the Israeli Diamond Exchange, identifying guests using facial recognition and body language analysis. The initial testing stage is conducted in preparation for a more extensive April test, expected to take place during the international diamond week.

In order to participate in the test volunteers can register and have their photos taken at the entrance, in a process that takes less than a minute. The systems automatically identifies the people entering and notifies security personnel.

The main advantage of the new system, developed by FST21, is the ability to identify authorized visitors without slowing them down with a slow biometric scan. The system uses several identification technologies simultaneously, utilizing commonly available hardware components – including the security cameras themselves – without requiring specialized hardware.
