AUS&R 2015 – A World Class Success

The AUS&R 2015 unmanned systems salon, which took place in Rishon Letzion, was a “world class” success, so stated the presenters and many visitors who arrived at the event.
Around 4,500 participants and visitors watched the best systems the Israeli unmanned vehicles industry has to offer. The professional participants heard reviews from heads of the defense industries, the security forces and specialists.
At the same time, many business meetings took place with representatives of foreign companies who arrived at the event to meet the Israeli companies in the field.
The live demonstration of aerial, maritime and ground unmanned vehicles was a huge attractions and was covered by dozens of television crews from around the world.
A reporter of an Asian country’s media agency, who wouldn’t stop interviewing and filming, said to one of the conference’s organizers: “You might be a small country but you have amazing technology and we intend to broadcast several segments about it.”
The LAGO conference center, where the event took place, was packed with visitors and participants from the early morning hours and the very end of the event.
“Everything was running immaculately and I can say it was a top-class event,” said a senior in one of the Israeli companies presenting in the event. “A very high bar was set for any defense exhibition and conference in Israel in the future”, he said and added that during the event he had several business meetings that who have otherwise forced him to travel across “half the world”.
