The Israeli company SIMLAT, a provider of next generation training solutions for unmanned vehicle systems and for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), is also offering an S&T solution for HLS forces. The Simlat’s CATCH advanced Trainer for Crime & HLS is designed to train CCTV Camera Operators, Video Analysts, Supervisors and Directors on complex and diverse scenarios.
HLS forces today are facing many challenges when they are called to the field and required to work together, understand the environment fast and react such that the emergency situation will be handled with care and with as less hazards and casualties as possible.
The simulator provides high fidelity, ultra-resolution simulation of scenarios in various environments, suitable for Crime Detection & Prevention applications. It includes preplanned scenarios which are added to the CATCH and controlled by the instructor from the IOS, or scenarios which can be created independently by the customer via the Planning Station. This enables the HLS forces to continuously customizing the simulator according to their needs, says Yuval Peshin, Simlat’s CEO.

The simulator includes ultra-high resolution, including attire, appearance, gestures, and motions of human entities, as well as different animals and vehicles. It can include simulation of complex and challenging situations and enable the trainees to debrief the different scenarios learnt.
Simlat is also offering The Security training classroom based on Simlat’s CATCH. This is a highly configurable simulation-based solution for simultaneous training of several security operators, Video Analysts, and Crew Managers on various situations.
