Remotely Operated Weapon Station Designed for Non Lethal Weapons

Rafael’s weapon stations are being integrated in a growing pace into the inventories of homeland security units. Non lethal weapons are also being integrated.

Earlier this year Rafael unveiled two new weapon stations. One is a new station that can be loaded from inside the combat compartment of the APC that carries it.

The new station makes use of a round magazine for reloading the ammunition supply from within the APC. This allows for continuous fire with nearly no interruption.

Rafael has also developed a weapon station that allows for the installation of non-lethal systems such as high frequency sound devices, tear gas, and more.

A company source said that the reputation Rafael has acquired as a manufacturer of advanced weapon stations fro armies helps in their introduction into anti terror use.
