Race To Develop 6th Generation Fighter Jets

An additional company has entered the race to develop the new 6th generation fighter jets. To quote the official statement of Collins Aerospace – the ability to possess a 6th generation fighter jet is an ” Open, networked, intelligent and secure capability to enable the next generation of air dominance.”

Back in June, the US Army had announced the beginning of its 6th generation fighter jets development. These 6th generation fighter jets will be designed to have advanced digital capabilities including high-capacity networking, AI, data fusion, cyber warfare, D2D and battlefield command, control and communications (C3) capabilities.

In order to maintain or strengthen air dominance, there will soon be a great order of these technological beasts.
