Many people are present this morning at the Startup Festival and Startup Live Competition organized by iHLS for the second year.

The first 10 startups out of dozens participating in the competition have already presented their projects on the central stage of the festival. In short 3-minute pitches, the entrepreneurs, with bright eyes, have succeeded in sharing their innovative ideas and vision with the audience. We all await to see who will be the ten projects selected to the next stage of the competition. The first prize includes flight tickets and accommodation to the startup festival in Vienna and participation at.the European incubation program Global Incubator Network (GIN).

The innovative ideas are demonstrated at the booths of the startup exhibition, which showcases a large variety of technologies, such as an anti-hydration application, a voice recognition technology, a device predicting and preventing asthma attacks, and more.

This festival is a unique meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, industry representatives and media.

The investor panel this year includes Esther Barak from Nielsen Innovate, Uri Weinheber from The Time, Joshua Levinberg from JAL, Sarit Piron from Cerca, Inon Axel from Cyrus Angel Fund and Cecile Blilious from Impact First Investments. Tal Catran, accelerators guru and an international keynote speaker, is the panel moderator.

The competition judges – Eyal Waldman from Mellanox, Rubi Suliman from PwC, Amiram Levinberg from JAL, Lior Weizman from IBM, Nava Swersky Sofer from IDCBeyond, IDC Herzliya, and Motti Peer from Blonde 2.0.
