Egozi’s Fury – GSS Turkey

Turkish sources said there is no basis to the claim Hamas was instigating terrorist attack from its HQ in Istanbul, and added the publication was only designed to impugn Turkey and foil the negotiations ahead of ending the diplomatic crisis between both countries.

Israel asked NATO and the US to take steps against Turkey for having allowed Hamas to set up a terror HQ in Istanbul, serving as a hub for perpetrating murderous terrorist attacks against Israelis. Senior sources in Jerusalem said “it is unthinkable that a NATO member would play host to a terrorist organization which conducts training and prepares to launch terrorist attacks from its own territory.”

Turkey has long ago stopped behaving as a NATO member, but Washington is doing nothing. The Americans wipe the spit off, smile and say it’s just rain.

Denmark is paying unemployment benefits to its citizens fighting with ISIS.

“It is very important for us not to be naïve,” said the Danish minister of justice.

Well, wake up. You allowed extreme Islam to permeate everywhere in Denmark. You are too late to take any action now.

Last week, German intelligence services said 550 citizens joined terrorist organization in Syria and Iraq. Britain believes some 500 of its own citizens have also been fighting in ISIS ranks. The British are also too late.

The Ministry of the Environment once again delayed moving the ammonia tank from Haifa Bay to an installation in the Negev by yet another year, to 2018. Only two weeks ago, it was declared that establishing the site in the south will progress according to schedule.

Only a fortnight ago, following the ammonia catastrophe at Emeq Hefer, the Environment Ministry said establishing the ammonia site at the south, which would allow the ammonia tank at Haifa to be closed, is making progress according to schedule. But then, it turned out, how unsurprising, that this huge fiasco that is risking hundreds of thousands of lives in the Haifa region is still going on. A little bit of incompetence, a dash of stupidity, and another tragic flop is about to occur big time.

There is another delay, delay upon delay, in transferring IDF camps to the Negev. This has already cost Israel 2.5 billion NIS. The ministry of defense is furious. Last week, Defense Ministry General Manage Major General (ret) Dan Harel presided over a discussion that looked into the possibility of concluding logistics ahead of relocating the defense establishment to the Negev. No decision has been taken at the end of the discussion, but even prior to the secret meeting, Israel’s defense establishment has already put many of the relocation measures on hold.

The freeze is due to a disagreement between the ministry of defense and the treasury ministry concerning the source of funding for the relocation in its interim stages, as the whole move is supposed to be financed by selling the expensive real estate made available in the center of Israel.

Even a national project with first rate defense implications for the whole country is not being run properly. It really does not take harsh terms. Merely one word is enough: disgrace.

Post-operation studies of “Operation Protective Edge” that have recently been circulated show IDF modes of operation against Hamas did not achieve their expected targets. The government had been acting based on an erroneous concept. So this is behind us, but all signs seem to indicate the government will act the same way, as will the IDF, which follows its orders, even in the case that the Hezbollah begins to launch rockets. It doesn’t seem like anyone is drawing the proper conclusions. Concept, deriving lessons. Is anyone looking at the history books?
