Base Molecular Resonance Technologies (BMRT), a Florida-based firm, has introduced a groundbreaking security technology designed to detect explosives with remarkable precision. This patented system can identify explosive materials like firearms or bombs from very far away, even through solid barriers like buildings and vehicles. The innovative technology aims to enhance security for political figures and high-profile individuals, providing a new level of defense against potential assassination attempts and other public safety risks.

Ken Valentine, a BMRT board member and former Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Secret Service’s Dignitary Protective Division, emphasized the transformative nature of this technology. “Having seen this technology in action, I can say with certainty that it is a game-changer. The ability to detect and neutralize potential threats before they can come close… (is crucial) for the safety of our leadership,” he stated. Valentine urged the United States Secret Service and law enforcement agencies to swiftly integrate this solution into their security protocols, calling it essential for safeguarding the future of the country.

One of the standout features of BMRT’s technology is its non-intrusive nature, making it suitable for high-risk individuals. The system can be seamlessly integrated into existing security frameworks, including mobile units and perimeter monitoring systems. This ensures that no threat goes unnoticed, even if a sniper is concealed within a building or positioned far from their target.

Lee Duke, co-founder and president of BMRT, explained that their technology detects the unique molecular signature of gunpowder. In a recent independent study, the system successfully identified a fully loaded AR-15 from 176 meters away through two buildings, achieving flawless results in all tests. “This technology offers continuous, instantaneous detection, empowering security teams to preemptively neutralize threats,” he added.

BMRT’s innovation provides an essential layer of defense for law enforcement and security professionals, enhancing protection at political rallies, government buildings, and other vulnerable venues where traditional security measures often fall short. As public safety concerns escalate, this new technology may play a critical role in safeguarding high-profile figures in increasingly complex security environments.
