Fast Draw – World War Three

An official announcement is perhaps yet to be made, but World War III is already upon us.

When you go abroad you notice it clearly – however foreign governments try to deny it.

True, this is nothing like the war envisaged during the period of tension between the former USSR and the US, but WWIII is definitely on.

The warring parties are hardly even. One of them has a definite advantage in numbers.

The war I am referring to, if you still didn’t get it, is waged between murderous Islamic terror and the entire world. The signs thus far were many, but the world preferred to sleep in. It has now become a source for major concern. Though events are yet to permeate to people’s daily lives, from my talks with numerous Europeans I gather they are beginning to catch on. They have realized that during those years they spent napping, Islamic terror settled on their doorstep. Moreover, it became entrenched, complete with weapons and fortified positions. They have waited for the right time.

The war is on. Paris, Copenhagen, Brussels. This is but a very short list.

Anyone who knows a thing or two about these countries can see what’s going on. This is hardly a chance collection of terrorist activities, but rather a well organization, well thought-through campaign.

World War III used to take the form of thousands of tanks rushing across the border and ballistic missiles flying across the globe. Now, it is a totally different war. It’s far more dangerous. Intelligence services are finding it harder to uncover the terrorists’ preparations, but they are simply staggering.

Despite everything they say, activity against the instigators of WWIII is still very limited. It is hardly enough to stem the tide. Terrorism does not have any brigades or divisions – but they are nevertheless well armed and fully equipped.

It the other side in this conflict, namely the West, does not sound the alarm and take drastic, tough action, then within a short while, the casualties are going to be heavy.

The concerning is finally there, but they are not actually making any preparations. It is enough to see the coalition’s actions against ISIS. This tells the whole story. If this does not change, and soon, the world is going to become very dangerous for those not on the beheading side.

In the meantime, judging by all visible signs, the world is far from ready to admit this is a global conflict. Even images of mass beheadings and burnings is yet to produces any such admission. It will come, eventually. Nevertheless, by then, those murderous hordes will have established themselves everywhere.

There is already talk among intelligence sources in Europe about hundreds of dormant terrorist cells, which are fully equipped, complete with an established chain of command. They are simply waiting for the word to come from up above.

In that bygone era of the cold war, it used to be the USSR which kept dormant agents throughout the West. Nowadays, it’s Islamic terrorist cells. They are well placed, poised to perpetrate serious injury in myriad ways. By the way, if a nuclear attack was high on the list of concerns in the framework of WWIII scenarios, this threat still lives on. Currently, a ’dirty bomb’ is the form this new threat has taken on. It won’t be before long for Islamic terrorism to lay its hands on nuclear arms too.

Those who do not get it are either blind or stupid. Or maybe both.
