Egozi’s Fury

egozi's fury featureSomeone in Jerusalem didn’t expect Mahmoud Abbas to authorize what’s known as the Palestinian Authority to join several international treaties. Amazing, Ramallah will be a member of some truly important treaties from now on, such as the Treaty for the Protection of Brown Rocks. Fantastic.

Ben Gurion himself treated the U.N. as irrelevant. Only Israel still takes this redundant organization seriously. If the Palestinians want they can join the Blue Colors for Sky Painting treaty, who cares?

Some politicians in Jerusalem just can’t help themselves and jump every time Mahmoud Abbas sneezes.

I’ve heard all the learned – and the not so learned – analysts refer to the recent settler incident, in which settlers stormed an IDF outpost near Itzhar. I don’t see any reason to even discuss this. No other country in the world would have allowed the incident to end like it did. Every other army of a sovereign state would have at least chased the attackers away, that’s exactly why soldiers carry weapons.

It’s a double fiasco – settlers attack the army that defends them and prevents hostile Palestinians from butchering them, while the soldiers couldn’t even defend themselves.

The takeover of the yeshiva during the weekend is not enough to cover this failure up. In general, the government should have ordered the soldiers to leave the region. Let’s see the hotheads from Itzhar fend for themselves against the Palestinians.

I keep repeating this over and over – Israel isn’t ready for any kind of emergency. Ministers make every effort to give as many interviews as they can while neglecting our day-to-day problems. The country isn’t ready for emergencies – earthquakes, major fires, massive rocket attacks or any other kind.

iHLS – Israel Homeland Security

It’s not a real government, just a group of people with their own agendas, which don’t necessarily match their job descriptions. We’ve been abandoned. It’s an extremely worrying situation, especially in light of the recent corruption cases – some still under investigation. Who’s in charge of keeping us safe?

I’ve been saying this for a while – Assad keeps storing and using chemical weapons, as last week’s incident proves. The U.S. and Europe, however, keep feeling pleased with their “chemical weapons disarmament” agreement. Assad’s probably laughing himself to death in his palace. He managed to fool the entire world, even Israel, who stopped manufacturing and distributing chemical protection kits. People all over are losing their minds. There’s something in the air that causes so-called “leaders” to fall for every blatant lie uttered by murderous dictators.

Another result of world leaders blindly following the lies of the worst of humanity’s enemies – a dramatic increase in the rate of Iran’s petroleum exports. Currently Iran’s crude oil export rates are the highest they’ve been in 20 months. The number of oil barrels exported by Iran is much higher than the average number it was allowed to export under the interim agreement, which included an ease of international sanctions on the Islamic republic in exchange for Iran suspending its nuclear program.

According to the IAEA monthly report the number of oil barrels exported by Iran reached 1.65 million in February, the highest amount since 2012. Behind their smiles Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons in addition to thriving economically. All with the help of the U.S. and Europe.
