According to Market Wired the Company’s UAVs, when equipped with a “sense-and-avoid” system that will automatically steer the pilotless craft away from obstacles and crash land in a safe area if necessary, are expected to expedite possible commercial use in this market sector. Precision agricultural applications utilizing drone technology are expected to reduce costs and maximize yields.

Potential applications include:

  • Monitoring moisture levels and carcinogen in crops and vineyards

  • Detection of carcinogen and pathogen levels in soil

  • Identifying and monitoring the spread of crop destroying pests

  • Monitoring of farm equipment

Following the progress and quality of work of autonomous combine harvesters, R.S.
