Three Israeli companies have teamed to enable an Asian customer of Israeli made unmanned air vehicles (UAV) to better train its soldiers in the use of the systems.

Innocon, an Israeli UAV manufacturer, has won a contract to supply its MiniFalcon 2 to the airforce of an Asian country. According to CEO Michael Armon the contract includes 6 systems, each with a ground station and 3 UAVs.

Armon revealed that deliveries will begin in mid year. He added that more customers demand a complete package that ensures the optimal entry of the UAV into operational service.

Innocon’s MiniFalcon 2 medium-sized UAV weighs 170kg and is capable of 15 flight hours, reaching an altitude of up to 15,000 feet. This UAV is capable of carrying a 35 kg payload that can include day/night observation, photography, target location and acquisition and laser designation systems.

After being awarded the contract Innocon teamed with Simlat and Britannica in order to offer the customer the required training tools.

Simlat is developing simulation systems for UAV operators that are designed to improve the mission capabilities.

Britannica has developed a web-based training management system that optimizes the training, scheduling and operational readiness of complex global training organizations.

According to the company its systems oversee the use of costly resources, simplify complex scheduling tasks and manage the complete lifecycle of qualification training. It also helps create and deliver course curriculum, improve overall performance, and ensure continuous monitoring of proficiency and readiness levels.
