An IT technology company will provide cybersecurity services to the US Air Force’s Eagle Vision, the only worldwide deployable ground station in the Department of Defense (DoD) for the direct receipt and dissemination of imagery data from commercial remote-sensing satellites.

Diligent Consulting Inc., a federal information technology (IT) services company, has been awarded a $769,087 contract to provide cybersecurity technical support for the Eagle Vision program. The award was made by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Operations Command and Control Division Intelligence Branch (HBBI), according to the statement on satprnews.com.

Diligent and teammate Kratos will provide services and solutions to implement, integrate, and conduct Eagle Vision cybersecurity operational support such as identity management, identity authentication, threat analyses and certification and accreditation.

Eagle Vision provides Combatant Commanders, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the DoD Intelligence Community the capability to receive and process commercial remote-sensing (CRS) imagery including broad area to high resolution, panchromatic, multispectral, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).

“Diligent is excited to support the AF Intelligence data gathering and dissemination mission by providing technical, advisory, C&A, cyber security, and training support to the Eagle Vision program director”, stated Rick Riney, Diligent’s COO.
