brightnight elbitRescue services around the world show an interest in the Elbit systems – BrightNite system that is designed to allow utility helicopters to perform night mission without goggles on the pilots helmets.

The Brightnite greatly improves mission effectiveness and flight safety. The system transmits high-resolution video to the Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD), allowing the pilot to fly in a head-up, eyes-out position in all visibility conditions

Brightnite utilizes pre-loaded terrain and obstacle information, combined with intuitive symbology, to display 3D information simultaneously on multiple HMDs.
