The Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism is a hard day. There is no need to explain that the pain of the families that had lost their dearest ones is the deepest.

People had fallen in the unterminated war for our existence here in Israel, a state that so many wish to eradicate.

These were people, who fought and were killed, people.

In this website, we focus on security technologies. There is no security without these technologies in modern warfare today. But one mustn’t forget that they were developed by people, and more importantly, that the technology without the human that activates it, is worth nothing.

The soldiers in the battlefield, the commanders, the anonymous soldiers of Israel’s security services – they all use technologies but they are present right there, operating, changing and constantly improving them. People. Technology, whether operated at the battlefield or at the rear headquarters,  there are always people behind it.

On Memorial Day, it is imperative that we remember that in spite of the advance in technology, it is always accompanied by people. Most of them at the actual battlefield.

On such a day, when we remember the fallen, this is the major message: Israel’s security would have never been stable without the people who developed the technology and have been using it in all kinds of warfare.

Today, we remember the fallen and do not forget that no software, neither any advanced electronic component would have come into existence and bring value without the human factor.

Today, we remember the ones that without them – no technology would have defended this State, that so many wish to eradicate.
