Call For Proposals For Startups In The Field of Defense and HLS

I-HLS is currently building a new and unique accelerator for Defense and Homeland Security. The accelerator is meant for technological projects after a feasibility test, who are seeking professional, technological, business, and marketing guidance in order to accelerate their product’s development, while simultaneously finding a substantial client.

At the accelerator offices participants will enjoy a supporting ecosystem, a range of economical counseling and services, directed at the world of entrepreneurship and defense, mentoring by global leaders in their field coming from the leading defense companies in Israel, and of course – international exposure via the media channels, events, and exhibitions offered by i-HLS organization.

The first cycle, expected to open in June 2016 and to last around 4 months, should host up to eight projects. As part of the program, participants will receive legal, business, financial, and marketing content, along with technical meetings with mentors, potential investors, defense industries and companies and foreign delegations.

The accelerator will be managed by lieutenant colonel Avi Yariv of the C4I corps, who has an extensive background in international marketing and development for technologies in the world of defense and HLS, and by Tal Catran – the accelerator guru of Israel, a mentor of many technological startups with wide international networking.

The companies sponsoring the accelerator include, among others, Israeli Aerospace Industries, Verint, and Incubit – Elbit Systems’ greenhouse.
