Egozi’s Fury – Denial and Neglect

Egozi’s Fury – Denial and Neglect

They – the politicians and several commentators, that is – are still using laundered words. A wave of terror, a series of stabbing events. It wouldn’t do you any good: The Palestinians have moved on and you have been left behind. The third Intifada continues to claim victims and here we’re still washing words.

Something bad is happening to us because of our leaders’ cowardness and the fact the some in the media are reciting what the cowards are whispering in their ears.

And what for? So that they wouldn’t have to use harsher measures in order to suppress this Intifada.

No “peace conference” in Jordan or anywhere else, sponsored by Washington’s naivety and lack of understanding, will be the answer. With terror first you answer with whatever means you have. Whoever wants to talk can do it once the terrorists are all dead or in prison.

Iran is still racing towards the bomb. The whole agreement it signed is not even worth the paper it was printed on. By the way, the Iranians are saying this flat out. Whoever wants to – listens, and whoever is shutting their ears, like the Americans – hears something completely things.

The problem is that Israel’s hands are tied and whatever threat Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is making about some “military opposition” seems lamer than ever.

In this situation Israel must change its policy of putting its head in the sand and announce that any Iranian threat towards Israel will be met with a response that will wipe the smiles off the country’s leaders – smiles that have managed, using a coordinated attack, to deceive both the US and Europe.

Europe is waking up. Too late. Many in the continent’s countries are now realizing that the waves of refugees brought into their borders some who haven’t escaped Muslim countries due to real distress but rather due to their wish to impose Islam in the countries they arrive in, thanks to the foolishness of some European leaders.

Almost every day we are witnessing incidents where “refugees” are daring to attack police officers or hand anti-Christian posters in some European countries.

But, as I’ve previously mentioned, this is just the beginning. Things are even worse since Europe refuses to deal with the problem. Intelligence infrastructures are small and inefficient, and political considerations are tying the hands of security services. So the problem is only starting and Europe hasn’t even a part of an answer.

The electric power and sewage failures came as no surprise to those who are familiar with the situation. Years of neglect. A regime of committees. Municipal governments that are far from functional. All this is clear to anyone who bothers to read the reports of the State Comptroller.

But the government has people who care about nothing other than keeping their seats.

The mere thought of compensation to residents who suffered damage is a laugh. Municipal governments won’t change anything, neither will the electric company. These are nails dug in deep and no one is even trying to pull them out.

How pathetic those responsible to this situation sound, especially in the electric company, apologizing to the television cameras.

But all will be forgotten tomorrow. They will still be paid overwhelming paychecks, completely irrelevant to actually doing their job. That is how it works in the state of Israel – a country that no one bothers to prepare to any kind of an emergency.
