Egozi’s Fury – Fatah-110

You can refer this periodic ritual of threats against Israel as one of those things he just has to do “for internal consumption”, he is just ’going through the motions. Nevertheless, a threat made in act one will eventually fire.

I gave already commented on this here before. Mr. Nasrallah must realize that next time, he would not be able to launch his organization’s Fatah-110 missiles, each carrying a 450kg warhead, against Israel.

Nasrallah must be given a response list in advance. Something like “for every rocket you fire against Israel, an entire quarter of, say, Beirut, where your men reside, will be wiped out. A second rocket – Lebanon’s power stations are gone. A third rocket – Lebanon’s water infrastructure is no longer operational.”

This is the only deterrent against this murderer, the only way to dissuade him from making good on his threats.

But here in Israel, they are concerned by what the world might say, so they are in for a war of attrition complete with 450kg rockets.

If anything must change in Israel, it’s the response to such threats on Israel.

The terror cell uncovered by the police raid in Belgium last Thursday is among dozens of such cases that have implanted themselves throughout Europe. These cells are well armed, ready to action the moment the order comes from Yemen or Afghanistan to perpetrate murder.

Europe has woken up late, but not too late to do at least something to minimize the danger, or even eradicate it altogether.

This calls for initiative, which must be based on accurate intelligence and a great deal of power.

Across Europe, counterterrorism units are suddenly taking on a different significance. What until now seemed like forces “you just have to have just in case” is fast becoming a critical tool. These units must be bolstered and applied with full, great force, even when they have so much as a shred of intel.

Until now, the threats posed seemed obscure. But now they realize it lurks on every street corner, each train station, and each office block.

A testimony from Gaza: out of the hundreds of trucks that enter the Gaza Strip from Israel each week, many of them laden with cement in the framework of those “reconstruction efforts”, not one house in Gaza has been rebuilt in the wake of “Operation Protective Edge”. So what’s going on? Is someone out there storing thousands of tons of cement? Hardly. This cement is simply being used to rebuild assault tunnels and to build new ones. No official denial can alter reality. This is so clear, than only a fool would fall for official statements denying this.

Hamas is rebuilding its capabilities – with massive assistance from Israel. And at the same time, Hamas is also busy developing more accurate rockets.

If anyone is going to die in Gaza anytime soon, it will be because they are laughing so hard at Israel, how those Israelis simply do learn from their own experience. On second thought, could this be some counterterrorism method?

Over the weekend, Al-Jazeera confirmed what we at iHLS have been saying all along, for months now: Syrian president Assad has been taking the whole world for a ride. He surrendered a small portion of his chemical arsenal, but retained most of it.

The world wanted to be taken for a ride, and Assad took advantage of this. The US and several of its European counterparts have takin pride in “destroying Syria’s chemical arsenal”.

The world is stupid, so the world will pay.

It is also noteworthy that Israel has decided to cease manufacturing of protective masks, and to stop renewing stockpiles.

Powers that be here in Israel are no wiser than those who wanted to believe the menace of Syria’s chemical arsenal has been eradicated.

Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström made very harsh statements against Israel last Friday. She said Israel has angered its close allies by over-reacting to Sweden’s recognition of a Palestinian State. Wallström expressed offense at Jerusalem’s rhetoric, saying its criticism had “crossed the boundaries”.

This is what happens when you are a foreign minister of a country that has been run over by Muslims, and everything you do is guided by kowtowing to them and not wanting to irritate them.
