EL-OP’S LONG-RANGE ELECTOR-OPTICS CONTRACT

un Elbit Systems Long View CRThe Israeli defense forces (IDF) will bolster the capabilities to detect any threat from the Israeli borders by using the Elbit Systems Electro-Optics (Elop) long-range observation and target acquisition systems. The Israeli ministry of defense recently awarded the company a follow on contract for additional systems.

Adi Dar, General Manager of Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop, said that “the systems that are included in the contract are unique and considered as world leaders – light-weight and capable of performing high-quality observation in day, night and low visibility conditions, they have generated significant interest among international customers”.
