One example is the recent change in security regulations that affects passengers that carry liquids. According to this new regulation, the passengers can now carry with them liquids purchased in the airport without the security limitations that apply elsewhere.

This development followed the deployment and testing of a unique security system that screens the liquids goods that are supplied to the duty free shops in the airport.
After they are cleared by the new system, the liquid products are packed in sealed bags in accordance with the US security standard.

The methods used by the Israel airport authority (IAA) security department are classified and most of them have been developed in Israel according to the standards of the Israel general security service.
