Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced that it has recently received contract awards worth $17 million in cyber security, command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.  

Kratos provide specialized cyber security related products, solutions and services to National Security related and other customers through Kratos’ Technology and Training Solutions (TTS) business unit.  The work under these recent contract awards will be performed at secure Kratos facilities or onsite at customer locations.

With 6 million unauthorized probes per day attacking Department of Defense (DoD) networks, it is clear there is a growing array of cyberspace threats that make cybersecurity a top government IT initiative. As cyber-attacks evolve, there is a need for blended solutions that address the range of security challenges.

Kratos possess practical hands-on experience dealing with a vast array of cybersecurity threats and information technology environments. Seeing as their cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) solutions are specifically developed to improve an organization’s information security posture.

Target drones have been playing an important role in testing anti-aircraft weapons and training anti-aircraft crews for years. According to econotimes.com, Kratos is the industry leader in high performance unmanned aerial drone target systems used to test weapon systems and to train the warfighter, and is a provider of high performance unmanned combat aerial systems for force multiplication and amplification.

Kratos has primarily an engineering and technically oriented work force of approximately 2,800. Substantially all of Kratos’ work is performed on a military base, in a secure facility or at a critical infrastructure location.
