Egozi’s Fury – The Global Spread of Islamic Terrorism

As I am writing these lines, the investigation of the mass murder in the US is well under way. It is already obvious that a Muslim citizen is one of the shooters, but what stands out is how overly caution American authorities are being in declaring that this was terror.

This caution is understandable, but it suggests a larger phenomenon: The US is strangely avoiding from pointing out the growing threat of Islamic terror.

Even when suspects are arrested, an effort is made to hide their origin and look for any other reason that the murderous deed was done.

Only this week we have wrote here about the rising number of ISIS sympathizers in the US. Israeli terror experts are saying that the US is one of the main targets for Islamic terror and are wondering about the approach of pointing out in any direction, but that of Islamic terror.

On Thursday it was released that suspects in the arson attack on the Dawabsheh family’s house in the village of Duma. The rest of the details are still gagged.

The comprehensive gag order on “the solving of a security case” has demonstrated once again the irrelevance of taking such a step. Every media channel squirmed so as to not break the order but did everything they could to give out hints as to what it was all about.

In media around the world there were further details. If this had been what is known as an “investigation drill”, that would have been fine. But if this is a decision to postpone release, weeks after the Minister of Defense said that they know who committed this terrible act of terror against Palestinians, then there is a lot of stupidity here, as well as a use of tools that are no longer relevant.

This release could have been published earlier, preventing the wave of rumors which included some pretty strange stories spread mostly in social networks.

Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh started his job as Chief of Police. Obviously we are all wishing him luck as it will affect all of our lives.

I am sure that every possible advisor has already whispered in his ear what they think he should do. But I am not sure someone mentioned the “un-sexy” subject of treating major traffic violations which are taking lives almost every day.

The police today does not have the ability to treat Israeli drivers, who are among the worst in the world. Whoever drives a lot sees every day the crossing of red lights, the driving on the margins and other offenses.

I hope the new Chief of Police will demand and receive the means of fighting on this front, which is taking many more lives than the terror front.

If we needed any more proof that the Iranian leadership is one of the more sophisticated in the world, we received it this weekend.

A newsletter in Kuwait reported this weekend that Iran is training two Sukhoi fighter fleets in order to take part in the war effort in Syria and are to be settled in the T-4 airport to launch attacks against Jihadist and radical organization in Syria.

Pay attention. Aided with the Iranian leaders’ “smile attacks”, they are continuing to race towards nuclear weapons and now they are bringing fighter jets to Syria. Iranian ground troupes were already spotted in Ramat Hagolan.

So tell me they aren’t sophisticated. Where does this put Israel? In another large problem.

Smiles against the lack of policy and lack of determination by Israel’s leaders and this is the sad result.
