E&M computing is launching “Spartan”- the first off-the-shelf extreme condition server. Spartan is subsidiary of E&M Computing Group that was founded in 1984 and has over 600 employees. Even in this early stage the buzz has already begun among the enterprise computing customers, since for the first time, various applications that are installed on standard servers can now comfortably migrate from the classic air-conditioned server room to the extreme environmental condition platforms such as BTS- Mobile Edge Computing, Mobile Command Center Vehicles, Oil and Gas Rigs, Naval and Avionics platforms. These extreme conditions servers can offer operation abilities outdoors and set up on tactical locations, inside a moving vehicle, aircraft or ship and in tactical control and command centers. The servers can also be distributed on cellular antennas or other commercial and industrial uses.

Spartan servers are extremely powerful with 2 x Intel Xeon 10-Core processors. The servers also have removable storage, small footprint, 2 x fast 10GbE fiber connection and AC and DC redundant power supply options. The servers are robust and are designed to meet extreme environmental conditions such as -20 to +60 Celsius operating temperature range and are designed to operate on land, sea and air. It is ultra-sealed with water, sand and dust protection so as to keep working no matter where, when, or how.

E&M computing will be presenting its technology in the upcoming AUS&R exhibition.
