MDA (Magen David Adom) is currently integrating some of the most innovative technological systems in the world.

This new technology allows a quick response to emergency calls to the 101 emergency MDA phone line, having the call skip automatically to the first available phone operator at any of the tens of MDA centers throughout the country. The technology allows, among other things, a response time for emergency calls in 3-5 seconds, thus reducing response time substantially and allowing medics and paramedics answering the calls at the emergency center to take a more meaningful part in life-saving missions in those first critical seconds following life-threatening events.

These new control and command systems, which also allow close supervision between the center and the vehicles on the field throughout the treatment process from when the call is received to arriving at the hospital, are a significant breakthrough in the field of life saving technology in Israel and the world, and are learned by rescue teams from many places around the world, who come to Israel to learn about the control systems in MDA.

The upgraded centers will also be reinforced with additional phone operators. Thanks to the new sstems, the upgraded center will offer a quick telephone response to emergency calls and dispatch MDA stand-bys on motorcycles, ambulances and emergency treatment vehicles from any launching point in the upgraded areas without any need for them to change location.

CEO of MDA, Eli Bin : “We at MDA have taken it upon ourselves to be at the forefront of medical technology in order to save lives. I can safely say and the new systems we have installed in MDA centers across the country, along with future systems to be put to use, will contribute significantly to improving service and operation in the organizations and help has with the tasks at hand on a daily basis”.
