Egozi’s Fury – Hunger Strikes And Fools’ Regulations

Israel has rules and regulations. But Israel also has two situations where said rules and regulations are not being kept, or are being kept in a strange fashion. That is what happened this past week with the administrative detainee.

The place to treat him was in a prison medical facility, but instead he was transferred in a big fuss to a hospital. So what happened here? The administrative detainee and all of his friends have won over a stupid system that can’t see past its nose, short as it is.

So that is how Israel has failed in operating according to an important regulation and has cause another increase in the level of hate the world has towards it.

In case anyone wasn’t sure by now, ISIS is winning all fronts. Washington has announced last week that it is cutting back its men’s presence in the international force in Sinai in charge of keeping the military section of the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt.

ISIS’s activity in the peninsula is that of an organization that controls a territory without any limitation. The Egyptian army’s operations haven’t even begun to damage the surface of its abilities.

Both Egypt and Washington have treated the organization as cruel but not to be taken too seriously. Well, that’s just not how it is. The organization controls the Sinai Peninsula as well as various parts of Syria and Iraq.

And what does the United States do? It sends a few fighter jets armed with some bombs to attack ISIS targets in some areas. That’s hardly even a joke.

And then comes the moment when Washington understands that the situation is far more severe and decides on the decrease of U.S. military presence in Sinai. This is just the beginning. The U.S. is about to be defeated in other places since they can’t read a map, even when it’s brightly colored and marked, and written in Braille for those with poor sight.

Someone in the governmental security services must think we’re all idiots. After tens of cases of stone and Molotov bottles being thrown and soldiers and citizens being stabbed, they keep calling it “lone wolf terror”. How smart the Palestinians are compares to our side’s fools who sit around in air conditioned offices, adding titles to their names that impress nobody but themselves.

In the West Bank, an Intifada is underway. This time it is done in a clever fashion that stands out against the stupidity of the Israeli government. Sources from the West Bank report tens of cases of stones and Molotov bottles being thrown – cases that never reach the media. So this is a different kind of Intifada. Those here who have apparently lost their minds continue to claim otherwise. How far does stupidity go?

Instructions for soldiers in the field: If someone is throwing a stone or a Molotov at you – wait. Measure your distance from them. Wait. If they run away, measure again. Evaluate their intentions. Wait. Report to command. Wait. It may not be the exact phrasing but this is the essence of the new instructions for opening fire in the West Bank. Every soldier in the field must have a rangefinder, a terrorist’s mind reader and a standby attorney. Are you smiling? That is how the state of Israel is trying to fight ruthless terror. Is a cloud of stupidity hovering over the offices making the decisions that reach the fighters in the end? Sure seems that way.
