Egozi’s Fury – Government disregards costs of Israeli lives

Four youngsters were injured in yet another vehicular hit beyond the Green Line.  It’s almost become a common incident.

Israel is not doing what is needed.  Firstly, that driver should have been killed immediately by fire from soldiers standing at the junction who reported the incident. Secondly, entry of Palestinians in cars should be prevented into areas where the conditions suit terror attacks of this kind.  Free movement of cars driven by Palestinians is dangerous and should be prevented.  Taking a light handed approach will cost more Israeli lives.

Neither of these options were taken.  In several instances a few cement posts were positioned but that’s not the solution. If drastic means are not effected immediately, the next terror attack is just around the corner.

It was to be expected.  Faced by a soft-centered, stupid world that allows itself to be led by the nose, Iran received a huge boost of confidence.  While it continues racing towards nuclear weapons, it also displays serious aggressiveness in the sensitive Persian Gulf area.

Five Iranian ships opened fire on Thursday towards the sea freighter bearing Singapore’s flag in international waters alongside the Persian Gulf, as reported by CNN, based on information from a formal American source.  It’s still unclear if the shots hit the freighter.

According to CNN, following the fire, the ship turned towards the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates, the destination it was headed to in the first place, and the Emirates’ coastal guard gave it cover until it anchored there.  According to American reports, no American citizens were on board.

It’s going to get worse.  The Iranians realize that the world has caved willingly to its grinning deception, meaning the aggression can be exacerbated.  A stupid world will get what it deserves.

This, too, has become routine.  The IDF disregarding its soldiers.  One time, they don’t have food. Another time, they haven’t got water.  each time the IDF spokesperson draws some excuse from a sleeve, it seems, or from some computerized program perhaps – which convinces the sum total of… no one.

Givati  brigade soldiers arriving last week at the Ramat Hagolan base for training prior to operational activities on the Lebanon border , were disgusted to find that the residential blocks were flooded with cow manure.

In Ramat Hagolan’s firing areas, cows wander about freely, but the fact that they managed to get into the dorms, which were not checked before the soldiers’ arrival, raises concerns about how the IDF relates to its soldiers.

Something’s very deficient at the base.  There’s surely some officer whose job it is to ensure that these things can’t happen, but obviously he didn’t do his job.  And of course, it is not the first time there’s been a failure of this sort.  Every time it happens, I’m totally ashamed on the IDF’s behalf.  Worse than the malfunction itself – is that no one in the army learns any lessons from it.
